Are You Struggling With Symptoms of Low T?

You’re not alone! Research shows that testosterone levels are not nearly what they used to be. Normal testosterone levels in men of all ages are decreasing every year and have dropped 20-25% in the last 20 years!

Scientific studies analyzed changes in testosterone levels in over 4000 young men between the ages of 15 and 39 years old. The mean total testosterone decreased from 605 ng/dL in 1999-2000 to 451 ng/dL in 2015-2016. Testosterone deficiency affects 20% of men aged 15-39 years—that's 1 in every 5 young men!

Potential causes for the decline include increased prevalence of obesity/BMI, poor diet, exposure to phytoestrogens, decrease in exercise and physical activity, increase in body fat percentage, and exposure to environmental toxins.

Initial Visit

  • What to Expect During Your Initial Visit

Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with Kelsey Abraham, PA-C. During this session, Kelsey will thoroughly review your medical history, discuss any symptoms that you're experiencing, and explore your health and wellness goals.

We discuss natural ways to potentially increase your testosterone, types of TRT, and the potential risks, benefits, and side effects of TRT. Fertility will also be discussed, as TRT can negatively impact your fertility.

Kelsey Abraham, PA-C, will place lab orders for you at this appointment (to be performed at a Quest draw site). Lab results will be discussed at your next follow-up appointment.

  • Cost of Your Initial Visit

Virtual appointments are not able to be billed to insurance at this time.

Although Kelsey Abraham, PA-C, does not bill directly to insurance, all of our services are billable. After each visit, patients receive a “superbill” from our office, which is a detailed receipt of the services rendered. The superbill includes diagnostic codes (ICD codes) and treatment codes (CPT or HCPCS codes) that insurance companies use to determine reimbursement. Patients can submit this superbill to their insurance company for possible out-of-network coverage. On average, insurance companies may reimburse 50-80% of the cost for out-of-network services, but this depends on your personal insurance and is not guaranteed.

    * Please note that Medicare will not reimburse out-of-network services, so superbills cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.

Additionally, our electronic health system is able to accept HSA/FSA cards, as long as they are issued by one of the major card brands (examples: Visa, Discover, Mastercard, or Amex).

Why We Choose To Be Out-of-Network With Insurance: Our out-of-network operation ensures that Kelsey Abraham, PA-C, can offer individualized, evidence-based care without constraints from insurance companies. This allows us to focus wholeheartedly on your health and well-being.
